Hi I'm Sterling

I'm a future pilot, I love boarding, I love the gospel, and I am a Mormon.

About Me

Well, My name is Sterling but I go by my middle nameof Grant, most of my friends call me Gingy. (Because I'm Ginger.) I grew in Utah and well, like most people I was raised mormon. There are a lot of things about me, but I love learning new things and I have a fascination with Aviation. Ever since I was a kid I wanted to be a pilot, or aerospace engineer. So I'm going for it. I love Snow and Skateboarding, maybe some day I will get good at it and learn a couple of cool tricks. I have a lot of different hobbies, mostly about planes and bikes, and cars and silly things like that. I have grown to love studying the gospel. There is so much you can learn. My family and friends are very important to me. And they are always on the top of my priorities. I love them and everything they do for me. I feel at peace being away from the craziness of the cities and being alone with my own thoughts. Iike tend to be a perfectionist. Which I am no where close. I have a great love for the scriptures and for my Savior Jesus Christ. He is so good to me.

Why I am a Mormon

Where do I begin? I am Mormon because I know that the principles taught in the Church are true. I think everyone has there struggles and doubts about God, and thourgh the Chruch and what it has to offer we can come to know he does exist. This is a blessing I have found in my own life. Someone once asked me the question, "If you could would take it back?" I thought about that for a while and realized no. I could not and would not take my membership in the church back. The price of the safety and peace I have felt in the Gospel is far above the price of anything worldly that could offered me. I know through personal experience that we all have our own trials, and through the Atonement of Jesus Christ we can overcome our burderns whether they be emotional, spiritual, physical, and whether they are self-inflicted or not. The Savior descended below all these things so he can help us grow, thrive, and become more like he is. His grace is sufficient FOR ALL. Another way he helpsus is by calling prophets, giving them priesthood authority he calls men in this age to lead his church and teach his gospel. I have heard these men and have read the book of mormon to find out whether or not the words in that book are true. and I can testify they are. I know that and I will never apoligize for being who I am, the gospel has kept me safe from a lot fo the trash out in the world and that is why I am mormon.

How I live my faith

I try to live my faith by serving others. I had a great example of this by watching my dad from a very early stage in my life. He has really devoted his life to the service of others, while still providing for his own family. I want my life to also reflect this great devotion to others, I believe that through one tiny act you can truly change someones life. I take part in many service projects that are put on by my church and maybe one day I would love to go to a foreign country and provide for those who are in need. Honestly sometimes living by this is hard but I have found that I never regret helping someone in need.
