Hi I'm Mallory

I was born in Tampa. I love fashion. I travel internationally. I'm studying accounting and finance, and I'm a Mormon.

About Me

I love business, and ever since early childhood have been involved in either a family business or my own business. I'm currently studying accounting and finance, and plan on pursuing a law degree. I love fashion, and enjoyed studying about textiles while in high school. I've lived in multiple states growing up, due to my father's employment and have traveled extensively. My greatest passion is working with people from other countries to learn more about their cultures. I love ethic food as well.

Why I am a Mormon

The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints has been the biggest blessing and gift in my life. My parents both converted to the church prior to meeting and getting married, so I've had the influence of the church throughout my life since birth. Just because my parents were members didn't automatically make me have my own testimony. My testimony was a growing process, and as I learned more the spirit confirmed to me that what I was being taught was true and correct. I know that Jesus is the Christ who the scriptures testify of. I know that the priesthood power was taken from off the earth and that through the correct powers it was restored again. I know that we have prophets here on the earth today, just as we had in times of old. I know that the Book of Mormon is true, and that it is another testament of Christ. Jesus Christ did walk on the earth. He was the ultimate example of how we should live our lives, and I know that if we follow in his ways that we will be filled with happiness.

How I live my faith

For me, living my faith isn't just something I do on Sundays, but something that I strive for throughout my whole week. The greatest way I've found to become closer to Christ and to strengthen my faith is through service. It seems like the times that I've personally grown the most was when I was stretched by service, especially within the callings I received. I had the wonderful opportunity of being in the Primary organization (children ages 3-12), and teaching them the basic and fundamental principles that Christ taught while he was on the earth. When teaching these principles, it was the simple things that brought about faith and renewed my own perspective. I feel that if we reach out to others in need, we are truly following Christ in our deeds.
