Hi I'm ShaeLynn

I'm a sucker for cardigans. I love making music and smiling until my cheeks get sore, but most importantly: I'm a Mormon! Yay!

About Me

I was born in California but have lived most of my life in Ogden, Utah. I am the youngest of six children and the aunt of 10 wonderful nieces and nephews. I work at a grocery store and love the time I spend there. My favorite thing is to be with people I love! I love to talk and entertain others by telling stories. Some may say I'm a little dramatic, but I prefer to think of it as "enthusiasm!!!" I love to laugh and fill my life with singing and uplifting music because it is good for the soul! I did a lot of Musical Theatre in High School, which I thoroughly enjoyed! I recently graduated and plan to study Music and Psychology at BYU- Idaho. I know that God is real and that He has a plan for my life! Being a Mormon rocks!

Why I am a Mormon

I am a Mormon because I have a testimony that this is the only complete and true church here upon the earth. I know it with all my heart! Keeping the commandments brings me joy! I am grateful to know that if I live righteously, I can be with those I love, forever! Being a Mormon helps me be a better person. God is the Father of my spirit. His love is real!!! He hears and answers prayers! Jesus Christ is His Son. He is my Brother and Friend. He is my Salvation from sorrow and sin- my Redeemer. Jesus Christ has all power. He is kind! His love is real! In Him, there is peace. Through faith in Him, all can be made clean and worthy to live with Him forever. He is The Only Way. This I know to be true!

How I live my faith

I live my faith by studying the Book of Mormon and seeking, through prayer, to do God's will, every day. I often listen to talks by church leaders. I attend church every Sunday and participate in meetings there. I choose to keep the Sabbath Day holy by forgoing activities, media, and conversations that distract me from focusing on and worshiping God the Father and His Son, Jesus Christ. I love sharing my testimony through song! I am currently serving as the Secretary in the Young Women's Class Presidency, in my ward. I find great strength in Prayer. I strive to live worthy of the Spirit, so that I may be led to those whom I can serve. I know that through my faith in Jesus Christ and His Atonement, I can be forgiven and enabled to be better and to eventually become like Him.
