Hi I'm Kaj

I am a native Californian who has lived in Idaho, Fiji, Utah, and now North Carolina. I am a Mormon.

About Me

I am a husband, father, student, worker. I love to learn. I have a collection of wonderful books that I treasure and have enjoyed reading and collecting them all. My family is my greatest treasure and my life so far has been a journey of discovering how wonderful and rich they are. I am currently studying law. I have degrees in History, Geography, English and Business. They all have there place and they all have been building blocks of perspective, tolerance, and appreciation for the world we live in. I will obtain another degree soon, however the paper will mean nothing if I do not use it to help those around me. I am blessed

Why I am a Mormon

I love truth. I seek after truth. Truth that is pure and eternal builds into a great whole for me as I strive to obtain it. Truth is unchanging and it is always confirmed. This is why I am a Mormon. I know that the Book of Mormon is a divine book based on a personal examination and prayerful consideration. I know that there are living prophets on this earth and that God speaks today, not in any unorganized or random fashion but in a consistent and persistent way, so that God's children will know who they are and why they are here. There is a real authority to act in God's sacred ordinances and it exists, unbroken, from Jesus Christ through those who bear it today. I know that we have a Savior, Jesus Christ, who is the Son of God. He suffered, died, and was resurrected so that we might be with and like him. Through Him we are forgiven for sins when we repent and through Him we are resurrected.

How I live my faith

I service as best I can. Sacrifice can be difficult at times, especially when it seems inconvenient to personal interest, however I have found that the discomfort quickly recedes and a love for others fills the void. I help in teaching through ministerial roles. I help coordinate and organize through administrative responsibilities. I love the families and individuals I get to speak with and encourage. It is miraculous to see people change who they are and become more like their Savior.
