Hi I'm Codi Bills

I am living my dreams. I am a mother, a daughter, a sister, a wife, a friend, and a child of God. I'm a Mormon.

About Me

I love life!! I love being a mother of four boys. Keeping up with them is a full time job. I am so blessed to be able to stay at home with my kids. My hobbies include fashion, traveling, business, entertaining, baking, singing, and serving in the Church. I love learning new things and developing new talents. I learned the Spanish language while serving a mission in Argentina in the Mendoza area. Teaching our Heavenly Father's plan of salvation was such a blessing to me. I learned a lot about myself, but more importantly I learned how to truly serve others.

Why I am a Mormon

I belong to The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints because I can find everything that God's prophets of The Bible testified of in the Mormon religion. There are seventeen distinct things to be exact that Christ established in His church when he was on the earth that are found in the Church today. God is just and fair. He provides a specific way that we can return to His presence. We as man cannot do it alone. We have Jesus Christ who showed us the way and who continues to show His everlasting grace upon us. God called prophets in ancient Egypt and surrounding countries whose words are written in The Bible. Many of them prophesied about the scattering of Christ's followers and the time of an apostasy where all communication to God was cut off. God destroyed a lot of cities because of the people's wickedness. A particular prophet named Lehi was commanded to flee Jerusalem before it was destroyed. The Lord led he and his family to the Americas. Lehi and his descendants wrote down records of their people and prophecies from God down on plates which later became The Book of Mormon. The special book of scripture is like a continuation of The Bible! How wonderful that we have records of Christ on two continents! I know that God calls prophets to help fulfill his work on this earth. He called Joseph Smith in modern days to revive His church from the apostasy and to translate the plates to The Book of Mormon. Only a man of God could do such a task and only under the direction of God. God is just and kind and continues to call modern day prophets to lead us. His miracle do not cease. Just like Moses parting the Red Sea, Joseph Smith saw God and Jesus Christ and was called to restore the Church once again on Earth. I have studied and prayed and KNOW these things to be true. I encourage you to do the same. You will see that Mormons (which was the name of one of the prophets of the Americas) are just trying to live as Jesus did.

How I live my faith

I attend church meetings every Sunday. I love the feeling of peace I get and the renewed feeling of being where I can strengthen my faith in Christ and His teachings. I also serve as a Sunday school teacher for adults desiring to know the basic principles of the gospel. I try to follow Christ in all that I do. I pay a donation called tithing every payday which goes towards numerous needs throughout the Church. I don't drink alcohol or smoke as I believe it is harmful to my body and spirit. I try to always do what God would want me to do. I do not judge others for their choices. Everyone is entitled to their own free agency to live their life how they choose. Living the gospel makes me happy and gives me purpose.
