Hi I'm Adisson Roylance

Someday I'll have a pug named Confuzzled! I'm addicted to Vanilla Coke, playing guitar, Blink-182, and the Discovery channel.

About Me

Currently, I've had the opportunity and privilege to be serving the Lord as a missionary in the South Dakota Rapid City Mission. I grew up in Florence Oregon. I believe Florence Oregon possess the most Heavenly geography the Earth has to offer. I've been blessed in my life to be raised in a small coastal town. My friends and family alike have helped me reach my potential. Having a good attitude has allowed me to complete much more than I once previously thought was achievable. After high school I made the decision to attend college at BYU-Idaho. I hope to achieve a Ph.D. in psychology and to work as a psychiatrist. My mother is remarried to an amazing man that is not a member of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints. My stepfather is the most honest man I know. His reputation, integrity, work ethic, persistence, and diligence are prime examples of honest living. Someday I hope to be as successful as he is. I believe motivation and creativity are key to continued success. It is important to keep positive in life, especially in times of hardship, gridlock, and doubt. I've had my fair share of depression, grief, and sorrow. I look forward to helping those that have had trouble in life overcome their personal psychosomatic trials and illnesses. Someday I may write a book about my studies as a psychologist, but that is an aspiration distant in my future. My motivation in life is founded on my two younger sisters. They are truly a blessing, and occasionally a burden!

Why I am a Mormon

I’m a member of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints because it is truly Jesus Christ’s church restored to the Earth. This church can answer any question I may have in a simple manner that I can understand. I believe with confidence and conviction that this church is true. I know and bear a special witness that Jesus Christ is the Savior of the world. Jesus Christ lives and will come again. Through faith, hope, and charity we all can come to terms with the validity and factual truth that this church is true.

How I live my faith

I live my faith by simply acting on my beliefs. Faith is defined as “hoping for things which are not seen, but which are true. To have faith is to have confidence in something or someone.” Faith to me is trusting in the Savior Jesus Christ. Through Him we can overcome our temptations, illnesses, personal afflictions, and trials. I have come to recognize that a firm foundation in faith can strengthen our lives for the better.
