Hi I'm Hillary

I grew up in Oregon. I am a BYU student. I am on a mission to Guatemala City. I am a Mormon.

About Me

I have 12 siblings and I love spending time with them and my parents. I was studying French Teaching and Pre-medicine, and I am now about to serve a mission for the church in Guatemala City for 18 months. I love sports and pretty much any outdoor activity. I love traveling and having new experiences while meeting new people and learning about their culture.

Why I am a Mormon

I was raised a Mormon, but I had to be converted like any other person. The first time I really relied on the gospel was when my youngest brother died as a baby. It was really difficult for me and my family, but I have seen the power of the atonement of Jesus Christ in my life and I know that I can be with my family again after we die. My family is the most important thing to me. Without the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints I don't know if I would have as strong of a relationship with my siblings or my parents. I am a Mormon because I know that this is God's only church on the earth today that has the full truth.

How I live my faith

I live my faith by reading my scriptures and attending my church meetings. I participate in youth activities and conferences. I am preparing to share my faith with the people of Guatemala.
