Hi I'm Emma

I'm a wife, a student, a teacher, a blogger, a runner, a violinist, and I'm a Mormon.

About Me

I am a newlywed with no children yet. I work full time, play the violin, blog, cook, and run. I did a year of college, met my husband over the summer after my first year, and got married! Now I am attending school to become a nurse.

Why I am a Mormon

I was born into the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints. I can't ever remember wondering if the church was really true. I seemed to always think it was. But I can remember really starting to know for myself when I was around 12. I am a Mormon because when I read the Book of Mormon, I feel peace, it makes me feel happier. The Book of Mormon is a wonderful book! It truly testifies of Jesus Christ--that He died for me and you, that He took on every sin ever made by every person who ever lived and will live, that He did all this because he loves me and you. I have prayed to know if these things are true and have felt strongly that they are. I feel that way right now as I'm sharing this with you. I know that God hears and answers my prayers and he will hear and answer your prayers, too, if you pray.

How I live my faith

I live my faith by attending church regularly. At church, my husband and I teach the 3-4 year olds. It's fun to help them see the way God has a hand in their lives and to teach them that they are children of God. We love those little kids! I also play my violin sometimes for the congregation. For me, sharing my music is a way for me to share how I feel about Jesus Christ.
