Hi I'm Anne

Lived in Aldershot since married in 1956. sports played a large part of my life, like track events, hockey and tennis.

About Me

I have lived in Aldershot since being married in 1956. Sports have played a large part of my life. I was active in track events and games like hockey and tennis. I continued to do gymnastics after lleaving school and loved canoeing in the evenings. Music has also played a huge part in my life - presently I'm in my ward's organ rota.

Why I am a Mormon

The greatest among the many challenges I've had during the fifty years as a member of the Church has been losing my husband to cancer. I've fund that faith in Christ as my Saviour helped me through that very stressful time - however, I know that we will be reunited as we have been sealed in marriage for time and eternity in the Temple. Now later in years, I still enjoy life as I and my family has always done. Family life goes on, with children and grandchildren involved in church life, missions - most of them being active Mormons. I fill so indebted to those two young missionaries, Elder Michaelson and Elder Kinsey for giving me such a wonderful opportunity to change my life and all my family to a truly wonderful adventure we could just not miss.

How I live my faith

I wanted to become a Mormon because the two missionaries which knocked at my door and taught me about the Gospel in 1962 were such a good example of what I wanted to become and had been looking for or seeking for a number of years.
