Hi I'm Tanner Howe

I am from Huntington Beach California. I am a singer/songwriter. I'm a Mormon.

About Me

I am a singer/songwriter from Huntington Beach, California. I will soon be serving my mission in Torreon, Mexico! I have a love for so many different things like film, Art, and sports. But my biggest passion is in Music! I have been singing ever since i can remember and I have learned to play the guitar and the piano. I love creating and conveying emotion and telling stories through music and I plan to make it my career.

Why I am a Mormon

I have been raised in this church but when I really felt that I myself by my own choice was apart of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints was when I was around 17. Before 17 I had spiritual experiences in the church but I really had not gained a solid testimony of the gospel. When I started high school there were so some many thing changing around me. I was going to a brand new school where I didn't know anyone, my parents were recently divorced, and at church I felt very alone. I struggled through the first couple years of high school and I just felt like I was not anywhere close to where I wanted to be. The thing that I feel really changed everything for me, was gaining friends in my ward. For some reason two wards that were once separated had now combined. This is where I met some of my greatest friends and people that are still my really good friends today. It was then when I started to really want to go to church instead of it being such a negative thing that I was forced to do. As I got rid of that negativity, i began to really realize and feel the spirit, see the happiness of the gospel, and recognize the light of christ. I realize know that that lord had seen my struggles and had answered my prayers by placing these people into my life. I received so many blessing in my life when I accepted the gospel and it has brought me such joy that it has to be the work of god. As I got to the missionary age my faith was tested as the pressures to serve a mission were upon me. I had a million reasons not to serve a mission and big reason for me was my music career and how leaving for two years on a mission would effect my dream. I started to realize how selfish my reasons for not going were. the question of whether or not to serve a mission really force me to really regain a full testimony of the church. Once I did

How I live my faith

I am currently in the Westminster 1st ward in California and serve as a ward missionary as prepare for my own mission! I help the missionaries anyway I can by organizing meetings, being at investigator lessons, and getting others involved.
