Hi I'm Andrew Jensen

I grew up in calgary, AB, Canada. I love my family, and my Friends. I am serving a mission in California. I am just loving life :)

About Me

So I never like describing myself, but here we go. I particularly love to hang with my friends and play card/board games with them. Watching movies and do some dumb things together with my friends really make me happy. I am in a family of 6, all of which ae boys except for my mom :) I lover her to pieces. I love the outdoors, Camping, Hiking, Swimming, riding on them sea doos, you name it, except for hunting i was never really into that. Late nights playing Halo or Call of Duty with some of my friends was not an uncommon theme. i found out the other day that my brother was going to serve a mission, and that he has got his call to go to teh Pocatello Idaho mission. I will admit i had a tear of overwhelming joy. As of right now i am serving a mission in the GREAT CALIFORNIA VENTURA MISSION. Thats right :) I have been out for almost my 2 years which really breaks my heart. I have come to know and love so many people here that it breaks my heart to leave to go to a new area. my companions have been amazing in the 15 transfers i have been out. i will name them. Elder Haupt, Henderson, Olsen, Harlow, Walker, Thornell, Beck, Stewart, Willis, Nielsen, Waite, Gregory, Elkington, and now another Elder Gregory. most of them are from utah but hey they are all now my buds. so ya thats my life. so far...

Why I am a Mormon

i am Mormon Because i know that this church is the true church that Christ himself has established, with prophets and apostles, Him being the chief cornerstone. His love that shows through the members of this church amazes me everyday. I know the Book of Mormon is the word of god and that a man who had a 3rd grade education couldnt possibly have transelated a book, unless it was inspired by Heaven itself.

How I live my faith

how I live my faith is an entirely persnal choice to do so. I have always gone to church with my parents, gone to seminary and went to youth nights. I was never one to question what I had to believe. I just knew it was the right thing. And i have come to figure for myself that it was the Light of Christ that has helped me along every step of the way. Since I am serving my mission, i hae recieved an entirley diffrent look on the world. especially the Gospel of Christ. I have come to realize that my potential is only limited to what I make it to be. so i stretch myself just a little every day to go farther. Weather it is going out of my way to serve someone, or just smiling at someone. not everything needs to be big acts of service. I have made the personal choice to study my scriptures every morning and to obey the commandments my Father in heaven has givin me. I know that by my so doing, not only my life, but the lives of all those around me will see how happy we can become. Most people see members of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints as having so many little rules. They arnt rules, they are commandments from God. If we are to say that we are true Christians we need not to put off a little commandment and repent about it later, being Christian or a Disciple of Christ means putting on the whole armour of God NOW. Not tomorrow, or the next but NOW. i have tried, and its hard but we can achieve this if we come unto Christ.
