Hi I'm Chris

I am a german/filipino, a dancer, a singer, a former missionary in the England Leeds Mission and I'm a Mormon.

About Me

I was born and raised near Wuerzburg, Germany. Because of two nations that dwell within me I have the efficiency of a german and the serenity of a filipino. ;) Growing up I visited the Philippines about every other year, which made me develope a great love and a good sense of pride for my asian roots on the other side of the world. My mom always speaks in tagalog to me and through school education I am now blessed to speak/understand more or less german, english, tagalog and spanish. (The order is from best to worst) ;) I finished an apprenticeship to become a draftsman for civil engineering and graduated after visiting another school with the german "Abitur". Now I am studying civil and construction engineering. From August 2012 - 2014 I was serving a mission for our Lord in Leeds, England. For fun I sing in a band, dance in a dancecrew and sleep. I also have some useless talents like being able to solve a rubiks cube, flicking a pen and pretending to be good at something, when I am really not.

Why I am a Mormon

I am a Mormon because I chose to be one. Being a former active Catholic, I know that there are many lovely Churches that are centered on Jesus Christ and His teachings - the truth. They help us to follow His path. As a teenager I looked over the edge of my beliefs and learned so many more doctrines that are revealed to us and are only found in the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints. I was able to see, that doctrines and important ordinances have been changed over time without the priesthood authority given from our Lord Jesus Christ. Through study and prayer I was able to find out for myself, if this is the right way to go. As Mormons "we believe in being honest, true, chaste, benevolent, virtuous, and in doing good to all men; indeed, we may say that we follow the admonition of Paul - We believe all things, we hope all things, we have endured many things, and hope to be able to endure all things. If there is anything virtuous, lovely, or of good report or praiseworthy, we seek after these things." -The 13th Article of Faith-

How I live my faith

I live my faith by studying the teachings of Christ and His apostles. Having faith in the Lord does not mean that I just trust in Him and leave everything up to my Savior. No, I have to get to know Jesus Christ more, so that I know how to become more like Him - our perfect example. Then I have to act on the knowledge I have received and strive to become more and more like Him, like having charity and being perfectly obedient to His Fathers commandments. Through living the Gospel of our Savior, following His teachings and being obedient to our heavenly Father, we not only bless our lives, but the lives of others.
