Hi I'm Juli

I grew up in Utah. I'm a Public Health and Equal Societies Advocate. I'm a Mormon.

About Me

My hobbies and interests are music, literature, art, laughing, making peoples' day, gardening, blogging, green architecture, and social determinants. I'm a mother to a toddler, and wife to a college student. I'm a multicultural-ite married to a multicultural Hawaiian. I served a full-time mission to Texas. I dream of building a self-sustainable home some day.

Why I am a Mormon

Born in the faith, I haven't always known what I know now. I found my belief and conviction as a young teen as I sought answers to my questions regarding the purpose of my life, and my role in my family, and my role in this world. All my big and small life questions have been and continue to be answered in the restored gospel of Jesus Christ. I've received a witness through the Holy Ghost that God, our Father, and His son Jesus Christ are real persons, two unique and united beings, who have and who continue to play a profound part in the history of mankind. I am happy when I live Christ's teachings as found in The Bible and The Book of Mormon. The Book of Mormon is a true book. God speaks to His children today as He did in Moses' and Abraham's day, through a living oracle, His Prophet. God's power is restored to the earth to bless His children who accept His message. I invite you to give His message a chance.

How I live my faith

I enjoy playing peaceful music in our worship services. Music is something most connect with. I live my faith by serving and strengthening my family, by being faithful friend, and by being a kind neighbor. Fulfilling these roles brings me joy.
