Hi I'm Spencer Diehl

I grew up in Lindon Utah. I love and value my friends. I'm a Mormon.

About Me

My name is Spencer, I am eighteen and am the second oldest of six children. I just graduated from High School and received my mission call to the Nuku'alofa Tonga mission, I am so excited!! I enjoy mountain biking, fishing, camping, golf, basketball, anything really in the outdoors, and I love my friends and family. I love to horseback ride and ride around in trucks listening to country music. I love my life.

Why I am a Mormon

I was born into the church by very good parents who have taught and loved me. I went to church cause I had to and did things out of duty and pressure from my peers. As I have grown up I have had challenges that have caused me to fall away from the church at times. With these challenges have come strength. I have a testimony of Christ's infinite atonement and the truthfulness of the power it has. It has changed my life knowing this and created a better understanding of God's love for each of his children including me. God knows us better than we know ourselves and knows what is best for us. Everything is in the Lord's timing, you have to trust the lord with all your heart. This knowledge I have has created a powerful testimony that I am not afraid to share. This is my most prized possession and nothing can take that away from me. I know this church is True.

How I live my faith

I live my faith by everyday striving to be a better person and to encourage others to do the same. I strive to live the way Jesus wants me to live my life. I love to home teach with my awesome companion. We have the great opportunity to home teach a new member in our ward. He is so great and is always doing his best to live the commandments and participate in church meetings. He loves it when we come over and loves to show us what he has been working on and is accomplishing. He has a great spirit and I myself learn from his example and strong faith in Christ. His testimony has strengthened mine through home teaching.

Are all Mormons required to serve a mission?

Spencer Diehl
Not all mormons are required to serve a mission. . All able young men are required to dedicate two years of their life to serve missions. The young women have a choice to serve and will serve for a period of 18 months. I am in full agreement with that, the Lord gave us life and a body, he gave us all the blessing we have and many more to come, I think it is not a long time to give two years of our life to serving the Lord when you look at eternity.
