Hi I'm Kaitlin

I love life.

About Me

I go to Utah State University, studying sociology. I love music and enjoy spending time with my friends.

Why I am a Mormon

The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints is the faith of my parents. I was raised in the church, but that doesn't mean I haven't ever questioned my faith. I have read the Book of Mormon and know it to be the word of God. I know that Joseph Smith translated the Book of Mormon through the power of God. I know that Thomas S. Monson is a prophet of God, just as Moses was, and receives modern-day revelation for us. God didn't abandon us. He called prophets in times of old and calls them now as well. I believe that we can each grow to know God as we pray to Him. God is our Heavenly Father and we are each His children. He loves us and wants to communicate with us through the Holy Spirit, but we have to also make an effort to be open to those feelings. There are things that drive away this Spirit and keep us from receiving personal revelation or answers to our prayers. I know that Jesus Christ, my brother, atoned for my sins so that through repentance I can return to my Heavenly parents again. I am so grateful for His sacrifice and for my ability to choose right from wrong in this life.

How I live my faith

I have been called to serve an 18 month mission to San Fernando, California, with the amazing opportunity to speak Spanish. I am so excited to serve others and help them feel the peace and joy the gospel has brought to my own life.
