Hi I'm Natisha

I love writing, photography, sports, music, and traveling. I'm an EMS college student. I'm a Mormon.

About Me

Hi! I was born and raised in Utah. I haven't always stayed there though; I love traveling and serving. Some of the places I have been to include Europe (to play music in a classical band), Canada, Mexico (to build a house in Agua Prieda), all over the United States, and am called to serve as a missionary in Montevideo, Uruguay. I can't wait!! My departure date to the Argentina MTC is in August :) I go to college as a full time student in the Emergency Service program; in fact, I just finished the Advanced EMT course. I also have an unofficial minor studying American Sign Language, it's been my second language for over 10 years. I love to try out many things which is why I have quite a range of hobbies. I work at a sports store but my main sport is Lacrosse and I love longboarding and snowboarding. I love any kind of photography (from scenery to people) and also do my own graphic designing and website work. I have played in high school bands with many different wood instruments. Another hobby I picked up is writing fictional novels; I have yet to publish, but maybe I will after my mission.

Why I am a Mormon

I, like many others, was born and raised a Mormon. Despite that, I realized, while growing up, that religion is still a choice. Some of my friends chose other religions and I respect that. My choice came from the peace and happiness I felt from this Gospel. Challenges have come into my life off and on, and I have always found guidance in the counsel I am given and comfort from the Lord. I know that this Church is the true church, and I have no doubt in my mind that the Prophets and Apostles are true and living leaders. I know that the Lord knows each and every one of us personally, and if you're following what's right, you will feel that peace and you will find yourself with pure happiness that can't be found elsewhere. I know that Christ's Atonement can provide a chance for us to repent of our sins and become clean from our wrongdoings. I love the Lord with all my heart, which is why I have chosen to serve Him for 18 months. I say these things in the name of our Beloved Savior, Jesus Christ, Amen.

How I live my faith

I have been a volunteer to help with a Special Needs activities group. I love working with Special Needs kids and adults :) there is something about them that just makes me feel closer to our Heavenly Father! I was partnered to help a girl who was Deaf along with other disabilities. Despite the challenges that she faces, she was the brightest, happiest girl i had ever met! They are examples to us all!
