Hi I'm Kristina

I've lived all over. I'm serving a mission in Dallas, TX. I'm a singer and musician. I'm a Mormon.

About Me

I am serving a mission in the Texas Dallas Mission! I couldn't be more excited to share what I know and bring people closer to Christ. I love this church! I am so excited to tell people all about it. I love serving people, but I especially love serving God, and I know this is where I'm supposed to be. Before my Mission: I've lived in Utah, California, North Carolina, and Oregon. I absolutely love music. My entire family sings, plays piano and guitar, and dances. I spent a year at BYU-I. I am called to serve a mission in Dallas, Texas. I absolutely love my family- with all the moving around they are my constant as well as the church. Music is my passion. I love all types of music, but mainly country and alternative rock. I have a huge appreciation for natural beauty in people and my surroundings. How can you not when you're in Oregon? I love dogs. I'm very passionate about everything I do and love being surrounded by others who are also passionate. I haven't yet decided what I'm going to pursue, whether it be floriculture, music, teaching, or nursing. One thing I know for sure is I can't wait to be a mother someday. My heroes in life are my parents and grandparents. I have been so blessed with incredible examples to follow. I'm proud to be the oldest of 5 and hope to set a similar example to that of my heroes. That's all about me!

Why I am a Mormon

I am a Mormon because I believe it is God's one and only true church on this Earth. No matter what I face I know I have this sure knowledge of who I am and what is really important. In a world like this, identity is something people are constantly arguing and contending about. I know I am a daughter of God. I know He is my Heavenly Father and He knows and loves me perfectly. I'm so thankful for the knowledge that I do have. I know who I am and know I am never alone. I know Christ suffered for everyone's sins. Christ is my Saviour. He died for us, and He lives again for us. He loves us so perfectly. A direct evidence of this love is the prophet, Thomas S. Monson. He is a direct mouthpiece of God on Earth. We can all receive revelation as well through the Holy Ghost. God has not left us. The heavens are open just as they were in the times of the Bible. I know the Book of Mormon is the word of God. It provides another account as well as the Bible of Christ's administration. This gospel makes me happy. It provides a plan of happiness. Because of the gospel, I know I can be with my family forever. That blessing is all because of the temple. I absolutely know the temple is the House of God. I have been there and felt the Spirit so strongly. It is the most sacred place on Earth. God's power and love is so present. I am so thankful to be a Mormon.

How I live my faith

As a missionary, I live my faith constantly every day 24/7. I have to so I can have the Spirit with me as I teach people about this gospel. I have loved it though. Being exactly obedient to what God wants me to do really does create miracles. My faith has grown so much as a missionary and I have been able to use that faith every day. I trust that God will help me know what to say, and trust that what I'm sharing with people is important enough for me to sacrifice my family and time to serve this mission for 18 months.
