Hi I'm Jonathan

I am an adventurer, traveler, and a missionary in Milwaukee, Wisconsin. I love people, languages, and I'm a Mormon.

About Me

I was born in Memphis Tennessee, and I spent half of my childhood growing up in Boston, MA and the other half in Nashville, TN. Part of me loves the city and part of me loves the country. I spend a lot of time outdoors, especially with my family. My family and I try to run together often, which is a great time to bond with them. My siblings are some of my best friends, and I love my extended family a ton as well. For work I have worked as an auto mechanic and managed a small business (an online skateboard company). I love working on engines and just touching metal. My first car was a 1967 Ford Mustang that I restored. I play guitar and write some of my own music. I never like to in front of lots of people, just for my close friends. Downhill skating boarding is how I cope with a lot of the stressful things that happened. I'm obsessed with languages, cultures, and personalities. I'm a happy person because I choose to be!

Why I am a Mormon

I'm a member of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints because of how I've seen my life, and the lives of many others be changed by the Atonement, the Book of Mormon, and the priesthood authority of God. Plus, the church just makes a ton of sense. Way more than any other faith that I've looked into. People have criticized my beliefs plenty, but I can't deny that I have seen God's hand in my life and that what He has made known unto me is true.

How I live my faith

I'm am currently living my faith by serving a two year mission in the Wisconsin Milwaukee mission. Sharing the gospel, doing service, learning Spanish, and getting to know people from all walks of life has been an awesome experience and has ton everything to strengthen my faith that Christ lives and loves us. I try to tell people I love them as often as I can and live the life that Christ lived as often as I can.
