Hi I'm Jacob Tuttle

I grew up working on a farm, loving hunting and the outdoors. I am serving an LDS mission in the Michigan Lansing Mission.

About Me

I grew up working on the farm and doing engineering work in a little town in Southern Utah. I spent most of my time outdoors, either hunting or fishing, working on our family's small farm, or playing sports. From working on the farm with my Grandpa is how I've really became the person I am. My family has always been very big into getting out into the mountains to be together and have a good time. I've always loved spending time with my family and friends. I've been studying Chemical Engineering at the University of Utah, and am looking at going into Nuclear Engineering. I am currently serving an LDS mission in the Michigan Lansing Mission. It's been a decision that has blessed my life now and I can't wait to see how it continues to in the future.

Why I am a Mormon

There's a different kind of happiness that comes from being a Mormon, a better, more permanent happiness than can be found anywhere else. My family is all LDS, and they all mean the world to me. I know that this church is true. Through many experiences, I have found no greater joy than being within this church. I know Heavenly Father loves each of us, and knows us individually. He wants us to succeed, and he has given us a way to return to Him. I know Christ atoned for our sins, and through Him we can be clean of those things we do wrong, and obtain eternal life. Missionary work is the Lord's work, and through it many can find this same happiness, and I am proud to serve Him. In the name of Jesus Christ, Amen

How I live my faith

I was raised to work hard and do all you can to be a good person. My family has always been the greatest example to me of how to treat and uplift others. I've always tried to do what I can to help others when I've seen the need, and to be the kind of person that can be counted on. Being one that can be trusted, by others and by the Lord, is very important to me, and I work hard to earn that respect and trust from others. Choosing to go on a mission was the best way to really help others the way the Savior did when he was on the Earth. I've really seen how the gospel can take hold of and lift people to a higher plane of living and thinking. I try my hardest to give people the opportunity to learn of the peace and comfort that comes from knowing the fullness of what Christ has done, and will continue to do, for us today and the enormity of his love for each and every one of his children.
