Hi I'm Luke

I grew up in Switzerland. I played volleyball for my high school. Now I'm a college student. I'm a Mormon.

About Me

I was born and raised in Switzerland, then moved to the States. I attended high school here, and was on my school's club volleyball team. I love being outside - working in the yard, playing outdoor sports, hiking, biking are all things I like to do. I'm a college student, and while I don't know what I want to do as far as a career, I'm looking into a few different fields that interest me.

Why I am a Mormon

My parents and grandparents are members of the church, and I was taught about the gospel as I grew up. I've had a testimony in the church for as long as I can remember. Many times have I prayed, and many times have I received an answer. We are sons and daughters of God. If we do what he asks, we can return to live with Him and become like He is. I know this to be true because He told me. And I know that it is His will that I continue in this church, because it is His church, the one He established so that His sons and daughters could return to Him. That's why I'm a Mormon.

How I live my faith

I attend church every Sunday, and have participated in many volunteer efforts that have been made available to me through the church. As part of our religious duties, we are assigned families to visit and teach regularly - this gives members the opportunity to get to know one another better, strengthen each other in the gospel, help each other with difficulties, and forge new friendships. I've participated in this teaching effort throughout my time in the church. I also plan on serving a two year mission for the church, during which time I'll be helping people to come to know Jesus Christ and their Heavenly Father personally and intimately.
