Hi I'm Scott Rhead

I grew up in Ogden, UT. I served a mission in Santa Ana, El Salvador. I am a full time college student. I'm a Mormon.

About Me

I have many interests. I love hiking, biking, swimming, camping, and other outdoor activities. My favorite sport is soccer. I love to listen to music and to read. My favorite kind of food is seafood but I love Mexican food as well. I enjoy drawing, painting, and any type of artwork in general. I also enjoy learning about other countries and their cultures.

Why I am a Mormon

I grew up in the LDS faith. Both my parents are very strong in the gospel and they helped me to understand the gospel and develop a testimony of it. I have had hard experiences in my life. My dad passed away when I was 14 years old. It was a hard time for my family, especially since my mom had not only me but my other two younger siblings to raise on her own. Having this experience allowed us to become very close. We relied on Heavenly Father and Jesus Christ to help us get through this difficult time. It wasn't and still isn't easy, but we know because of the plan of salvation and because of our savior, Jesus Christ we can return to heaven one day and see our dad again. I know this gospel is true and can give comfort to those who need help and guidance in life. living in our world is not simple, but I know that the restored gospel can bring peace and joy to those that it reaches.

How I live my faith

I live my faith by continually relying upon our lord Jesus Christ. He is my Savior and I will always follow him. I try to live his teachings and love others. I strive to work hard and show kindness to all I meet. I feel so much joy in my heart for the gospel. I have faith in the Atonement and the continous mercy and love of Christ.
