Hi I'm Jono

I'm a Husband, an Economics graduate, a Financial adviser and yes I'm a Mormon.

About Me

I am 26 years old and married to my beautiful wife Hannah, we have been married for almost 4 years. I graduated top of my class from the University of Leicester in economics in 2011. I have just qualified to be a financial adviser. I enjoy playing and watching all kinds of sports and spending time with my family. I am born and raised in Leicester, and served a mission in Scotland between 2006 and 2008. I have been a Mormon all of my life. I have a younger brother and fantastic parents. I am privileged to have the family that I have, who support me in whatever I do.

Why I am a Mormon

I'm a mormon because its true. I have prayed and asked god if the book of mormon is the word of god and was told that it was. I was brought up a mormon, but throughout my teenage years I thought it would be a lot easier if I wasn't a mormon. This is when I began study and pray earnestly. As I served my mission in Scotland experiences further strengthened my belief. It is amazing to me that god loves us, he calls prophets today as well as in the olden days to give us the up to date consel that we need. I am astounded that god would sacrifice his son to enable us to return to live with him. I want to live with my family forever and through revelation received through prophets I know that I can. Being a mormon helps me to be a better me.

How I live my faith

I try to treat others as I would like to be treated, helping those in need gives me great joy. Within my congregation I act as a clerk currently, dealing with membership records, finance etc. Trying to keep the congregations records etc. As up to date as possible. I visit with a companian, other members of the congregation offering our services if any help is required and checking that all is okay. I really enjoy this as you always feel good when you are given the opportunity to help. I aim to do whatever small part I can to make the world a better place. As I learnt on my mission what'er thou art act well thy part.
