Hi I'm Zack Meyer

I was born in Oregon and moved to South Carolina when I was almost 14. I'm a Mormon.

About Me

I enjoy science and engineering, I am an Eagle Scout, and I was on my high school robotics team for three years.

Why I am a Mormon

I am a Mormon because I firmly believe this is the true church of Jesus Christ. I love the feeling of the Spirit of God, which I feel strongly in my church. He has given me everything, and I am willingly to do whatever He asks of me, and I believe that He wants me to be a part of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints.

How I live my faith

I was a leader of several youth groups and I will soon be a full time Missionary.

Why do Mormons perform baptisms for the dead?

Zack Meyer
It wouldn't really be fair if people who died before having a chance to hear the gospel and be baptized weren't given these opportunities, and God is just, He loves us all. So He gave them a chance to be baptized even after they have passed on, but someone has to be baptized for them. That's where we come in. We get baptized for those who can't be baptized themselves because they've died before having the chance. This way, those who have passed on still have a chance to receive the same eternal rewards that we who were baptized in life receive. Show more Show less
