Hi I'm Weston Barnes

I've lived in Colorado, Idaho, and Missouri. I'm currently serving a mission in Vancouver Washington. I'm a Mormon.

About Me

I am currently serving as a missionary in the Vancouver Washington Mission of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints. Before I started my mission I was a manager at a restaurant called Freddy's Frozen Custard and Steak Burgers. I have a semester of college under my belt and plan to go back after I'm released as a full time missionary. Although I'll likely be going into the field of Electrical Engineering, my real job will be being a Father and Husband.

Why I am a Mormon

The reason I've chosen to continue to be a member of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints is that I know that even though my life is full of imperfections, Heavenly Father loves me and he can bless me more abundantly when I'm living my life in harmony with the teachings of the church. I'm a Mormon because it gives me a measure of joy I can't find anywhere else.

How I live my faith

To me living my faith can mean anything from my daily scripture study and personal prayers, to attending one of our Holy Temples to make covenants with our Father in Heaven. I believe that doing is a huge part of how we can show our faith and most effectively apply our Savior's grace in our lives.
