Hi I'm Jennie

I grew up in Salem, Utah. I love learning and want to be a doctor some day. I'm a Mormon.

About Me

I am the oldest of four kids with three little brothers. I love to play sports, especially volleyball and softball. I am going on a mission to Posadas, Argentina and couldn't be more excited. Because my Visa is not in yet, I have been reassigned to serve in the Arizona Scottsdale mission and am very excited to be serving there. I am going to school in hopes of one day becoming a doctor. I love to hike and ride ATVs and do things with my family. I try to live life in a happy, fun way with lots of laughter and lots of love.

Why I am a Mormon

I am a member of the LDS church for so many reasons. For me, my testimony started in realizing that my family can be together for eternity. My family is the most important thing in my life and I don't know what I would do without them. Having them for eternity is the greatest blessing that God could ever give to me. I know that I have a Father in Heaven who knows me and loves me. I also know that I have a loving brother who died so that I might be able to return to live with him again. Because of the sacrifice that Jesus made for all of us, we are able to become perfect. Nobody on this Earth is going to make it through life perfect. We are all going to make mistakes and do things that we wish we hadn't. Through the Atonement and love of Jesus Christ and our Father in Heaven, we can be made perfect. Our Father in Heaven loves each of us and knows each of us. He knows exactly what we need to be doing in our life and I want to testify that I know he hears and answers our prayers.

How I live my faith

I live my faith through example. Going to school, many things entered that did not match up with my beliefs. My incredible roommate was not LDS and instantly wondered why I didn't drink or party. Living life according to how my Father in Heaven has asked me can be hard at times, but I love it. It has blessed me so much. I also have had the privilege to work with the other women of the Mormon faith and serve those in my community. I also am serving a mission in Argentina soon.
