Hi I'm Steven

I grew up in Idaho. I love to write. I'm a Mormon.

About Me

I love to write. After a year of college and majoring in biology, I ended up taking some time off to focus on writing and doing what I love. I want to become a doctor because I like to help people and make them feel better so it is the perfect career choice for me. I'm the fourth child of six and I enjoy being a middle child. I am preparing to serve a mission in Ghana, Accra and it will be my first time leaving the United States! I have two great parents who support me in this decision and I know both of them love me through their actions. They have always taught me to do what is best and to serve others and I am grateful for their example.

Why I am a Mormon

As a child, my reason for being a Mormon was because my parents were, but as I grew up and began to know the scriptures, I realized being a Mormon isn't hereditary or to be passed on through family members but an individual decision to be, not only a better person, but a child of God. He has sent me to this earth to learn and live my faith as an adult. I am a Mormon because I feel the love of my Heavenly Father when I pray. I know he cares for each and every person and He wants us all to know the truth. I am a Mormon because I believe in Jesus Christ.

How I live my faith

As a youth, I lived my faith by participating and leading a young men's group. Now, as an adult, I prepare to live my faith by dedicating to years of my life preaching the gospel. I know that the gospel is true and I want to help people find happiness in the comfort of the truth. I know our Heavenly Father loves each and every one of us and sent His son to teach us the gospel and I strive to follow that wonderful example. I know that I will not stop living my faith when my mission ends, but I will live my faith throughout my entire life. My faith has made me who I am and has shown me how to love others like Jesus loves us all.
