Hi I'm Natalie

I am a Mormon, and I grew up in Colorado. I love music and trying new things.

About Me

As a young child my family moved from one city to another. We decided to live in a camping trailer while we built our house. We live on about 5 acres and have also obtained various animals. Between working on the house and all of our farm animals, I have learned the importance of work. I also love music and have been singing since I was 6 and playing various instruments for just as long. Music is probably the biggest part of my life. I really enjoy singing hymn and other music that has been published online by LDS artists. Whenever I sing I feel closer to the Lord and come to understand more about the gospel. I also cater at the college I attended. I love to serve other people especially when I get to make them happy through food. I look forward to learning more and continuing to grow.

Why I am a Mormon

I was born into the church; however, as a young adult I decided that here is where I wanted to stay. I have always felt joy and peace when I was doing what I have been commanded to do. I know that I have purpose for being here. I know that I have a way to return to my father in heaven. My favorite part, is that I can be with my family forever. Even after death. When I get married, I know I will be with my husband forever. Not until death. This is comforting to me and something I look forward to. I also know that whenever I have a question, I can ask my Father in Heaven through prayer and I can receive and answer. The words that I read in the Book of Mormon and the Bible bring me happiness and guidance. I have direction and worth. There is still more for me to learn, but I know that it will only make me happier and better prepared for the things that I will face in life.

How I live my faith

I live my faith by continually begin happy. I strive to remember the words of Christ and live by them. I love to sing so I am one of those strange people you hear singing to the radio station in Wal- Mart. I also try to help my neighbors and friends whenever there is a need to be filled. I have been a leader in my youth groups within the church as well as organizing the music while I was at college. I was able to decide which church hymns to sing and ask people if the would be willing to play the piano and lead the music. This allowed me to do another thing I love which is to get to know people and learn more about them.
