Hi I'm Elizabeth

I grew up in Arizona. I'm a tax accountant, ballerina, and world traveler. And I'm a Mormon!

About Me

I am number six of eight children and the first girl. I grew up dancing classical ballet and doing odd jobs to raise money for college. My list of occupations includes: newspaper girl, babysitter, ice-cream maker, waitress, nanny, secretary, phone operator, and CPA. Somewhere among the jobs, I finished a Bachelor's of Accounting and a Master's of Taxation. My greatest passion is traveling, I have visited every state in the continental United States and countries in Asia and Europe. Even though I have finished my formal education, I continue to take classes in subjects that interest me - including photography, interior design, and dance. My biggest accomplishment to this date is being the world's best aunt to nineteen nieces and nephews.

Why I am a Mormon

I have continued to be a faithful member of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints because I have felt the peace and joy living the gospel principles brings to my life. I have a loving Heavenly Father who knows me personally and has guided me throughout my life, I have seen His blessings and help. He created a perfect plan and sent His son Jesus Christ to suffer for me. He gave me a perfect friend who not only suffered all my sins, but also all my weaknesses, my hurts, my pain, and my fears - Christ perfectly understands me. Through Jesus Christ, I have the ability to return back to God's presence. I know who I am, I know where I came from and I know that there is a life after this one. I will be with my family and loved ones forever. It makes sense and not only does it make sense, but as you live it, you can feel the Spirit of the Lord confirming the truth of it to you.

How I live my faith

I have been a Mormon my whole life and have held various responsibilities in the church. In my youth I worked as a president over my fellow young women. I helped plan weekly activities and summer camps. During my college years I served on the activities committee organizing various monthly activities for singles. I also taught lessons in church on Sundays and helped in the women's organization. I served a full-time proselyting mission to upstate New York and Spain for 18 months, where I had the opportunity to share my beliefs to everyone I met. I loved seeing the different cultures I encountered in Spain and seeing God's love for all of His children, no matter their language or circumstances in life. I continue to tell everyone I know that I'm a Mormon and answer questions whenever I can. I continue to try and follow Jesus Christ's example and love and serve everyone I meet.
