Hi I'm Samuel

I grew up in Utah. I love a harsh winter, plenty of snow, and I love to ski. I am a Mormon

About Me

I am the oldest of five kids in my family and all my siblings are adopted. The outdoors is my home, I enjoy skiing, hiking, biking, swimming, skating, and everything else you can do outside. I also enjoy film and photography, i'll always have a camera in hand if i'm outdoors. Music is a form of worship and I love all kinds of music. I really can't sing a lick but I still love to do it and hope that those around me can just ignore me or bare with me.

Why I am a Mormon

I grew up in the gospel and have been taught that this is what is right my whole life. I decided to be baptised when I was of age but my own conversion is still happening each day. I know what I need to do to invite God into my life and I know I am happier when I follow his teachings. When I focus on bettering myself I am able to feel peace

How I live my faith

I am living my faith by choosing to leave things out of my life that are not in harmony with the teachings of the gospel of Jesus Christ. I have been an active member since my baptism at age eight and I have been called to various positions as I've progressed in the gospel. I have been a home teacher, a deacons quorum president, deacons quorum secretary, and second councilor to the teachers quorum president.

What are some things that tell you there is a God?

Samuel
Alma Chapter 30. In verse 44 it says "all things denote there is a God...yea, and also all the planets which move in their regular form do witness that there is a Supreme Creator" spending a lot of my time in the outdoors I find it hard to look around and not see his hand in all that surrounds us.
