Hi I'm Charlie

I'm a guitarist, I enjoy learning, I love to serve others, and I'm a Mormon.

About Me

Some of my hobbies include, but are not limited to: playing electrict guitar, listening to music, listening to new music, watching live performances of music as well as other divisions of the fine arts, being in the sun, playing basketball, watching/talking about movies, laughing, spending quality time with people that I love, helping others, taking roadtrips with family and friends, trying not to spend heaping quantities of time on Facebook, and of course, EATING! :D

Why I am a Mormon

There were two missionaries who were tracting in a neighborhood one evening. The daylight was dissipating and the missionaries needed to soon return to their apartment. Before leaving, they decided to knock one house in particular, at which a woman answered the door. As the missionaries explained who they were and their purpose, the woman oddly was thinking that this is what she wanted for her own son when he was old enough. The woman began meeting with the missionaries and was eventually baptized, or became a member of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints. The woman remained active and faithful in the church and saw her own son leave to serve a mission. I will be eternally grateful for my mom who decided to act upon her thoughts and feelings that night in 2001. I am grateful becasue I have experienced so much happiness, direction, hope, and ultimately love being a member of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints. I have come to not only know that God exists, but that He is my Heavenly Father who has a deep love and concern for me. Through His Son, Jesus Christ, I know that we will all have the opportunity to return to live with Him and our families forever. The Gospel of Jesus Christ has enabled me to cope with difficult circumstances, such as having the legitimate comfort that I'll be able to see family members who have passed away. It has been able to help me forgive and love others, as well as forgive and love myself. I continue to be an active member of this faith because I know that nothing in this world can help me or others more than following Jesus Christ and striving to live His Gospel. I love Jesus Christ and am grateful everyday for the blessings I and those around me enjoy becaus of His life and mission.

How I live my faith

I am currently serving as a full-time missionary in the Minnesota Minneapolis Mission! It has been a wonderful experience to come to better understand who I am, as well as inviting others to learn and experience of the happiness that I've experienced from being an active member of this church. There isn't anything that brings satisfaction as well as pure joy to me than when I am giving of myself, my time, and my talents to others.
