Hi I'm Emilie

I'm a Mormon.

About Me

I am a Communication Disorders Major and planning to become a Speech Pathologist. What brings me the most joy in my life is the gospel of Jesus Christ, serving others and being with those I love. I love experiencing new things, traveling, running, skiing, and most of all spending time with my family and friends. I absolutely love life and all that it includes. I have been called to serve as a missionary for The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints to the Roseville, California Mission ... Spanish speaking. I could not be more excited to preach and spread this wonderful gospel and bring all those I can unto Christ. This gospel brings so much happiness into my life and I want others to experience the same happiness I have.

Why I am a Mormon

I know with all of my heart that the gospel of our Savior Jesus Christ is true. Although I was born and raised in the gospel, I have had multiple experiences throughout my life that have given me my own personal testimony of its truth and goodness. I have a strong testimony of the Prophet Joseph Smith and know with certainty that he restored the gospel years ago. I have studied my scriptures and prayed often to know if the church was true. I've wanted to know for myself and have received my answer in multiple ways. Being a Mormon has completely shaped my life and the person I am. Because of the gospel, I am a very happy person and live an amazing life.

How I live my faith

I go to church every single Sunday and have my entire life. I am one who prays often and absolutely loves reading the Book of Mormon. My favorite calling I have had so far in the church is being a Sunday school teacher. I love having the opportunity to share my thoughts and testimony with others. It strengthens me to teach others about what I love most and know to be true. I recently was able to go through the Salt Lake temple and am looking forward to going through every week until my mission. The temple is truly the House of the Lord and has already given me a better and more positive outlook on my life. The spirit I feel when I am there is indescribable. Like the gospel, the temple fills me with love, comfort, peace and complete happiness. Another way I love feeling the spirit strongly is when I am listening to gospel and/or uplifting music. Music can touch you in ways that words sometimes can't.
