Hi I'm Ryan

I grew up in Utah, I love snow, and I'm a Mormon.

About Me

I'm a Utahn. cool right? I lived there most of my life until my Dad was offered a job in Shanghai, China. My family moved right before I started my senior year in High School and I lived there for a year. I have three brothers and sisters and they're all older than me. They're all pretty cool too. I know how to say maybe 20 words in chinese and I pretend that I can speak spanish too. My pretty much hands down favorite thing is snowboarding. Skiings not too bad either, and honestly anything that you can ride on the snow is pretty cool. Rails and jumps are cool, but powder is where it's at! I like music, camping, sports, t.v., mexican food, noodles, anything outdoors, art is pretty cool too but i'm terrible at it, and panda bears. I have a weird thing for dragons too, but they're not real. Most of all I like hanging out with my family and friends.

Why I am a Mormon

I was blessed with parents that are mormons and were great examples of how to live my faith. They taught me that I have a Heavenly Father who loves me and wants me, along with everyone else on earth to return to live with him after this life. They taught me the reason of life and why we are here on earth, to become worthy to return to Heavenly Father so that we can be happy in his presence. I believed in my faith, because I grew up in it. But I didn't actually know it was true until after I read all of the Book of Mormon. After I finished I realized that it is true and that it is a testimony of the truth of the gospel, that we can know the truth for ourselves and that we can know who we are and what our purpose is. I know that Heavenly Father exists, and that through his son, Jesus Christ, and through the atonement we can be forgiven of our sins and be worthy to return to his presence.

How I live my faith

One of the simple ways I live my faith is by going to church every sunday and church activities about once a week. I used to go to a class called "seminary" too. Seminary is a class where we go to learn more about our faith and to strengthen our testimony or belief in the gospel of Jesus Christ. It's not a typical teenage activity, but I loved it, and I'm grateful for all my teachers and for everything they taught me. I also live my faith by trying to do my responsibilities in the church the best that I can and to try and help out the people in my faith and everybody in my community. I also work on better living my faith and on trying to be a good example of a mormon.
