Hi I'm Jenna Marie Labrum

Loves singing along with the radio, star gazing, eating watermelon, playing card games, and everything in between.

About Me

I was born and raised in a small town. I grew up in a family with three brothers, which meant I spent much of my time watching ball games. I eventually took up sports and love to play volleyball and tennis. I also enjoy playing the piano, boating, dancing, and listening to music. I recently graduated with high honors from a junior college with my associates degree. Being a college student helped me learn to love meeting new people and trying new things.

Why I am a Mormon

I have been so blessed throughout my life in so many ways. I am very happy and I know it is because I am a member of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints. I know that my Heavenly Father loves me because He placed some truly amazing people into my life that I have been able to learn and grow from. I know that my family is eternal because of the blessings of the temple. I know that my Savior lives and loves me because He died for me. I know His Atonement is real and that He has been through every hard thing that we have had to experience or ever will experience. I know that we can communicate with our Heavenly Father through prayer. It has been one of the greatest sources of comfort to me in my life. I have also found this comfort, along with guidance, from the scriptures. I know the Book of Mormon is true and that is was written for us. I know that Joseph Smith translated the book through the power of God. I know that he was a true prophet and that we have a living prophet today who receives direct revelation from God in how to lead and guide our church. Because of the knowledge I have of the gospel, I know there is a plan for me and it is a plan of eternal happiness. It brings me comfort and peace and allows me to find joy in all that I do.

How I live my faith

I love being involved in my school, community, and church. I try and take every opportunity I get to serve people in those areas. I had the opportunity at college to help tutor Hispanic adults in the community to speak, read, and write in English. I also helped plan, organize and participate in other various service projects for my school. I am currently serving a mission for the LDS church in Fort Worth, Texas. I am dedicating my life for 18 months to serving my Heavenly Father. I will do so by inviting others to come unto Christ and sharing with them the joy that I have felt from being a member of this church.
