Hi I'm Aysia

Hi, I'm Aysia. I was born and raised in Utah, and I am proud to be a Mormon.

About Me

I love musical theater, singing, pencil drawing, oil pastel, and art in general. I love hiking, camping, star gazing, and being outside in the great outdoors. I hope one day to be a dental hygienist, a wife, and a mother. There is so much ahead of me in life, and I excited to experience it. My one hope is that I may be able to be a good wife and teach my future children the importance of the gospel. I want my home to be centered on Jesus Christ and our Heavenly Father. As for right now, I am excited to be able to give 18 months to serve the Lord.

Why I am a Mormon

I know that nothing is coincidence. God sends certain people into our lives to help us understand of his love and how much he cares for each of us individually. I am so grateful for the wonderful people in my life who have helped me to realize this and strengthen my testimony of this church. I know that Joseph Smith helped to restore this true gospel to the Earth today. I know that Heavenly Father is always there to help us. Through prayer, we can talk to our loving Heavenly Father and ask him for the help and strength that we need. He is waiting to hear from us, and eager to help us. I find peace in knowing that God will never give us anything in our lives that we cannot handle. It may be strange to say, but I am grateful for the challenges and trials I have faced in my life. I know that they have made me stronger and helped me to become who I am today. Through God's help, I have been able to overcome them. I know that Jesus Christ came to this Earth to take upon our sins and die for us. He is our perfect example of what we should strive to become. He knows exactly what each and every one of us is going through because he has been through it himself. I know that the Book of Mormon is the true word of God. Through the Book of Mormon, we can receive further knowledge and light of his true gospel and the Bible. It truly is the corner stone of our religion. I know that Heavenly Father only wants the best for us, and will do anything he can to help us. We just have to do our part. I know that we can return to our loving Heavenly Father again some day, and that we will all be reunited. I know that families are eternal, and I am so grateful for the beautiful temples that we have on the Earth here today to help make that possible. They truly are the house of the Lord. I cannot deny the love I feel from my Heavenly Father, and I hope that I always live worthily to keep the spirit with me. This restored gospel makes me happier than anything else on Earth. The church is true.

How I live my faith

In the past year I have worked with the young women of the church, and grown to find the joy in visiting teaching. I have been blessed with a wonderful visiting teaching companion who has shown me how important it is to serve the women of the church in the service of our Heavenly Father. Being in the young women's program myself and now helping to serve them, I have grown to know the strength in the youth of the church.
