Hi I'm Tyler

I was born in Tracy, CA. I moved to Idaho when I was 17. I have been called to serve in the Jamaica, Kingston mission.

About Me

My name is Tyler. I was born and raised in Tracy, California. I was born into the church and I am the youngest of nine kids. I love to play and listen to music. I play the drums and I can play a little bit of guitar and piano. I moved to Idaho when I was 17. I recently received my mission call to serve in the Jamaica Kingston mission and I am very excited to be able to go. I like to play all sports especially basketball, soccer, baseball, football and tennis.

Why I am a Mormon

I am a Mormon because I know this church is true. I was born into a Mormon family and I grew up living on the testimony of my parents and others in my ward. At a certain point in my life my testimony started to fade and I didn't want to believe in the church but I still kind of felt like it was true, but I didn't want to believe because I felt like life would have been easier without the church and all of it's standards to live up to. When I was about 15 or 16 I was talking to a friend about temples and how families can be together forever and I felt the spirit more than I ever had in my life and I knew that the church is true and that I couldn't deny it. I straightened up my act and read the Book of Mormon and I gained my own testimony. I have been so much happier ever since I started living the church standards and doing what I'm supposed to. I know this church is true. I know that Joseph Smith restored the gospel of Jesus Christ on this earth. I know that Thomas S. Monson is a true and living prophet. I have had the spirit testify to me that this church is true and that is why I am a Mormon.

How I live my faith

I live my faith by attending all three hours of my church every Sunday. I will be leaving on my mission and dedicating two years of my life to the lord and his work converting his children to the true gospel of Christ. I don't currently have any callings since I will be leaving on my mission soon, but I have gone home teaching to multiple families once a month for many years of my life with my father and other companions.
