Hi I'm Schillene

Converted to the gospel as a teenager. Live in Utah with my family. I am a wife, a mother, and I am a Mormon

About Me

I am the wife of a wonderful man, and the mother of four beautiful children that I love so much. I love to study the scriptures with the BYU professors of Education. I love to entertain, cook and read. I work at a clinic in pediatrics. I love working with babies, children and teenagers! I love to serve the public. My favorite thing to do is sharing the gospel with everyone.

Why I am a Mormon

I am a Mormon because I was looking for hope. I had so many questions and no one could answer them. I knew that life had more to offer than what I had. I needed to know that I can become more than an angel, in the world to come. As I studied the scriptures in my youth, I felt that I was a child of God and that He loved me. I needed to know that it was true. I was taught that God was a Spirit. The missionaries helped me to understand that God is real, and that He has a tangible body, and that I was His spirit daughter, and that He knows me perfectly. It made so much sense to me, beacuse I didn't understand how He could be my Father yet He was a Spirit and I have a tangible body. I love the gospel beacuse of the truths that I've learned. I love to study the gospel! I love the fact that I am not limited in the Church of Jesus-Christ of Latter Day Saints when it comes to learning. I have the potential to become whatever I want in the world to come. It's up to me! The knowledge that I have now, has helped me in becoming the kind of daughter my Heavenly Father always saw in me. The doctrines are perfect! This knowledge helps me to see the world differently. There is always hope in the gospel! Life is wonderful with the gospel teachings! I am optimistic about life! I love the Savior with all my heart, and His perfect Atonement brings me so much hope! I can make it too! "For with God, nothing shall be impossible".

How I live my faith

I live my fatih by teaching my children daily and my co-workers as often as the opportunity arise. I love to share the blessings of the gospel, by praying for anyone who expresses their problems and trials. I love to attend the temple so that, I can pray on their behalf. I live my faith by helping the missionaries find people to teach. I constantly pray to find people to teach about the great joy and hope that I have found in the Gospel of Jesus-Christ.
