Hi I'm London

I grew up as an Army kid moving around every two years. I'm a dancer. I went to school at BYU-Idaho. I'm a Mormon.

About Me

My dad joined the Army when I was 1 year old and therefore I grew up a military kid, moving every two years until I was in middle school. The first thing people ask when they hear that is was it hard and how did I like it! Well I loved it! I was a social butterfly and was always excited to move to get to meet new people! What was so nice about moving was that I knew no matter where we went I always had the church. It would be where ever we went and I would always have friends and be welcomed! We ended up settling in Arizona after starting middle school and love it to this day! However when it came time to go to college I chose Brigham Young University- Idaho, Moving once again! I guess its just engrained in me to always like the change of scenery! I just completed my fourth semester at BYU-I and received my associates in science, halfway to my Health Science degree and 1/4 of the way to being a dental hygienist!

Why I am a Mormon

I am Mormon because it is true! I know it and I love it! I have felt the confirmation of the Spirit when I have prayed to know if it was true for myself. That is what I love about the church is that it encourages you to find out for yourself whether it is true. It challenges you to improve and constantly want to become more and more like Christ. The questions that everyone wonders, such as, why am I here, where am I going, what is my purpose. Are all answered and become clear through the restored Gospel of Christ! When I do the things that Christ taught, such as praying every day, or studying my scriptures every day, I feel the calming peace and true happiness that cant come from anything other than the truth of God. I have been through many trials in my life that I am more than willing to share with you if you ask, and yet through my knowledge of my loving Heavenly Father, I have also been able to recognize the many tender mercies of God that I have been blessed with. I know that God lives and loves each and every one of us, and that He can answer your prayers just like He has always answered mine.

How I live my faith

I live my faith by preparing to serve a mission! I have been called to spend 18 months of my life preaching the gospel and serving the people in Australia! However, in my everyday life I live my faith by attending church every week and accepting callings in church. Even while away in college I attend church every Sunday for the full 3 hour block and accept responsibilities within the congregation there. I served my last semester as a Home Evening coordinator, essentially seeing if each week groups of kids from the congregation were meeting and fellow-shipping one another. This however also required me to get to know the members of the congregation and report if they were having difficulties with homesickness or any other problems to the bishop in meetings. These meetings were the hour before the church block. There are also many opportunities for service around town and serving my fellow sisters in the women's programs at church.
