Hi I'm Kenneth

I enjoy being spontaneous, physically and mentally active, and talking to people. Also, I'm a Mormon!

About Me

I am interested in sports, mainly volleyball, tennis, and ultimate frisbee. I am an Eagle Scout, which I got when I was thirteen, I also received three eagle psalms. I enjoy being outdoors and being athletic. Although I am also good with staying indoors to do activities with those who do not like the outdoors so much. I like to mess around and have fun when it is appropriate to do so(especially with my brother), and I love making others lives better. I enjoy doing service as long as it doesn't get too nasty, but even then it's possible to make it enjoyable. I enjoy being creative and thinking outside of the box to get to solutions in ways that aren't typical.

Why I am a Mormon

My parents are mormon and so I was raised in the church, however, I did have to find out if this was the true church for myself. I couldn't live off of my parents knowledge but my own. So I decided to read the book of mormon and pray to know if it was true or not. Even to this day every moment I read the scriptures I always get that feeling just testifying to me that it is true and of God. As I experience things in life I am always reminded of His love for me and how he has an impact in my life. Recently I had a pretty intense car crash to where it rolled 5 times and we landed upside down with all the windows shattered and the hood coming down into the car. My friend who was in the car with me, and myself can both testify that we were protected during that accident because we both walked out with only a few scratches. I know without a doubt that God has a very big role in our lives, especially if we look for those instances where we are being blessed by Him.

How I live my faith

My current calling in the church is to assist the scout master. It's nice being able to make an impact on younger lives and hopefully teach by example. It's also a lot of fun being able to organize and participate in things that maybe I didn't get to participate when I was in scouts. I enjoy being able to give service to those individuals and to also learn from them. I also help organize activities for the young single adults in our ward (those that are between the ages of 18-30.) Being able to help others have a good time really makes an impact on my life because it makes me happy as well. I will soon be serving a mission in England, and I will be able to serve many more people while I am there for two years. I look forward to learning of things, and teaching things that I have learned. I am grateful for the opportunity I have to go be of service to them.
