Hi I'm Chad

I live in Providence, Utah. I'll be leaving July 10, 2013 to serve an LDS mission to Louisville, Kentucky!

About Me

I'm 18 years old and I'll be serving a mission in Louisville, Kentucky for two years. I leave July 10, 2013 and I can't wait! I love to play sports, I played football and basketball in high school. I plan on going to college when I get back. I have some of the cutest nieces in the world! And I'm even lucky enough to have been blessed with a new nephew as well!

Why I am a Mormon

I've always grown up in the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints. My parents are both active members and great examples to me. I'm also blessed with older siblings who live this gospel and their lives in such a way that they are a model to me. I also have a personal testimony of the gospel of Jesus Christ. I've always had a testimony but it has grown so much in the last 3 months as I have had to decide whether I wanted to serve a mission or not. I know that we are all beloved sons and daughters of our Father in Heaven. I know that He sent His only begotten son to this earth to die for each one of us. I have witnessed the power of repentance for myself and I am eternally grateful for the Savior, Jesus Christ's atonement. I know that this is the one true church on this earth and I know that it is directed by Jesus Christ himself, through his servants, the prophets. I know that Joseph Smith was a true, modern-day prophet of God and that he restored His church to the earth. I know that prophets like Thomas S. Monson, lead this church and receive direct revelation for the church. I'm grateful to be a part of this work and can't wait to serve the people of Kentucky!

How I live my faith

I've recently been released as a leader in my priest quorum, which is a group of 16 to 18 year old boys in my ward. I enjoyed teaching the lessons there regularly. I also go to a mission prep class once a week to help me prepare for my mission and grow my testimony of this gospel.
