Hi I'm Nikki

My Polynesian husband and I love to watch cooking shows, make music, and play with our kitten Rosemary. I'm a Mormon.

About Me

I am currently working towards my degree in Health Education and Promotion at a college in Northern Utah. My husband and I are expecting our first child this coming August and we can't wait to become first time parents. In my free time I love to paint my nails, knit, try new recipes, play the piano, and play with my kitten.

Why I am a Mormon

Although some might think that growing up in the church makes living the gospel easy, there came a point in my life where I truly wondered what I believed. I began to realize all the different possibilities and lifestyles that I could be living and I had to determine why exactly I should live the gospel standards that I had been taught. After quite some time of pondering and wondering how my life was going to go, I came to the conclusion that I want to be mormon because everything that is taught, is for our own happiness and benefit. Our lifestyle may not be the easiest, but I can assure you, it is completely worth it. I know that living my life in accordance with God's will is the surest way to living the happy and fulfilling life that I want.

How I live my faith

I grew up in an LDS family and have loved every minute of it. My mother encouraged me to take piano lessons growing up, and now I am able to serve in the church by playing music for various church meetings. At the age of 20 I decided that I wanted to share my happiness of this gospel with anyone who was willing to listen which took me on the biggest adventure of my life in the Fukuoka Japan mission for 18 months. I was blessed to marry my husband who had the same religious beliefs as me and we were sealed to each other for time and all eternity in the Salt Lake City temple this previous August. I love the doctrine of eternal families because I know that no matter what happens I will be able to see my relatives beyond this life alone.
