Hi I'm Lexie

I'm a sociology major, I love studying things about people and how they interact with one another. I'm a Mormon

About Me

I love camping with my family. I enjoy going out in the woods with no technology and just gettin in the dirt and roasting marshmellows. I love riding horses and I love doing things with my family. I love movies, especially comedies. MY boyfriend and I have disney wars all the time where we quote a disney movie and then try to guess what movie it is from:) I love college. I am a Sociology major and I find it to be fascinating to study people.

Why I am a Mormon

The normal storybook answer to this question would be I'm a mormon because my parents are mormon and so I just followed them. While it is true that my parents are mormon and they raised me mormon, I still chose for myself. I'm a stubborn girl, my dad calls me firecracker and its not because I have a bad temper or anything, it is because I'm stubborn and loud with my opinions. I as we all do, went through a point where I didnt care if I was mormon or not. I didn't live the standards. I didn't really care. When I got to the point where I did, I started really searching. I got an answer, and I felt a love that I know had to come from a God who truly cared about the broken heart of a little girl who was begging for answers. I don't always know what I'm doing and I make mistakes, but I know this church is true and I love it and I'm going to blunder around until I get it.

How I live my faith

I love my religion. I love teaching. In our church we have an opportunity to learn from and teach each other about different doctrines and other teachings of our church. I've been able to participate in these activities an I really enjoy it. I love working with children. I've been able to teach children and play with them and it has been a rewarding experience. I love my church and I love the things that I have learned.
