Hi I'm Nathan Allen

I am an outdoor enthusiast. I'm a missionary. I'm a Mormon.

About Me

I love being in the Outdoors!! I am an avid outdoor enthusiast and love to camp, fish, snow ski at Park City, water ski at Lake Powell, skim board when I am near the ocean, play soccer, and participate in just about everything in the the great outdoors. I love life!

Why I am a Mormon

As I have grown I took the privilege that was mine to read the Book of Mormon. As I read and prayed about the truthfulness of the book, I was able to gain my own testimony of the Book of Mormon and I know it to be true. I choose to be a member of this church because it has brought me joy and helped me realize the important things in life. This last year I was named Captain to the Varsity soccer team at my high school. The opening practice came and I broke my foot, which required surgery and a long road to recovery. At first I felt as though my life was over because soccer WAS my life. With my life firmly rooted to this gospel, and to Christ, I was able to look at how blessed I really was and that I still had a family, which was all that really mattered. I know that my testimony of the Book of Mormon and of Jesus Christ has given me the ability to make it through hardships and it will never fail me. I know that this is the true church here on the earth. I have prayed and fasted about it and have come to know that it is true. Thomas S. Monson is a prophet that communicates with God and leads us through divine revelation today. The counsel prophets have given, has changed my life for the best and it will do the same for anyone who gives sincere attention to their words. I am very blessed to have the gospel in my life and would not trade it for anything.

How I live my faith

Being a part of this church has given me many leadership opportunities that have been an integral part of who I am today. Currently I am sharing the message of the restored gospel of Jesus Christ as a Missionary in Oregon!

How can I know Mormonism is true?

Nathan Allen
I came to know through sincere searching and pondering. God promises us in the Book of Mormon that if we ask sincerely with faith in Christ that God will reveal the truth to us by the power of the Holy Ghost. We can recognize the influence of the Holy Ghost in our minds and in our hearts. Show more Show less
