Hi I'm Hanna

I grew up in Arizona. I am left handed. I'm a Mormon.

About Me

I have lived in Arizona my whole life. I am the youngest in my family by 10 years which means that I was the only one living at home for many years of my life. I have an older sister who is adopted and she also has a daughter who is adopted. I love to play with my nieces and nephews more than anything. I have had a love for Disneyland my whole life. It is my FAVORTIE place to be. I have been there many times and it never gets old! Throughout high school I loved to participate in my schools musicals. I also really enjoy volunteering and especially enjoy working with and teaching children. I recently finished my first year of college at Brigham Young University and in that first year found that I greatly enjoy learning about Sociology and connecting what I learn to my religious beliefs. I am now preparing to leave everything behind and serve an 18 month mission for The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints in the Kentucky Louisville Mission.

Why I am a Mormon

I am Mormon because I cannot deny something that I know to be true. The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints makes sense. As I continue to learn more about the gospel and question different things I have come to this knowledge: There is no way that Joseph Smith or any other person in the 19th Century could have written the Book of Mormon. That being so, Joseph Smith was visited by our Heavenly Father and His Son, Jesus Christ. Joseph Smith was directed to an ancient record and he did translate it through the power of God. All of that being said means that the record, The Book of Mormon, is in fact true and through its teachings we can find happiness and return to our loving heavenly Father. Because I have come to know all of this I can now say without a doubt that The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints is the true church on this earth and Thomas S. Monson is truly a prophet of God. This gospel has brought me happiness, peace, and hope as I have lived its teachings. I know that through those teachings I can one day return to live with Heavenly Father. I know that the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints is true. I cannot deny it.

How I live my faith

I believe in the saying "There will always be someone who has more than you and there will always be someone who has less." I believe that it is our responsibility to devote a portion of our time to sharing what we know and what we have with those who have less; whether it is our education, skills, religion, possessions, or love. We can make a difference in the lives of others. I strive to do this in my everyday life in the ways that I speak, think, and act. I believe that the little things often have the biggest impact. By striving to be more Christ like as well as striving to show others the love that Christ has for them on a daily basis, I am living my faith. Things that help me do this are: attending church activities, church meetings, and reading the scriptures and praying daily.
