Hi I'm Milyssa Law

I am pursuing a degree in Exercise Physiology. I love my family. I am currently serving a mission in Oklahoma and I'm a Mormon.

About Me

I grew up in Utah all my life and am from a family of 6! I love my family and spending time with them. They are the best! A few months ago I graduated with an associates degree and then decided to go and serve a full-time mission. It has been the best decision I have ever made. I love anything active. Ragnar Relays and 1/2 marathons are always on my to-do list's in the summer! One day I hope to be a Nutritionist, Health Teacher or a Personal Trainer.

Why I am a Mormon

I am a Mormon because it has brought me a peace and happiness that nobody or anything else could have ever brought to me. I grew up learning the gospel through my parents. As I got into my teen years I discovered that I needed to find out for myself if it was true. As I studied and read the Book of Mormon, I grew fonder of the Gospel and its teachings. I felt a difference in my life when I was reading the Book of Mormon, and following the Prophet. This difference changed my outlook on life, and I found myself a much happier person. I know that our Savior always looks out for us, and is there for us when no one else is. He is my best friend that will never leave my side. Although I cannot see him, I can feel him. I know that he has always been right by my side rooting for me as I pass through different stages in my life. I am forever grateful for him and his sacrifice's for me. I know that the Savior loves you and everyone in the World. He wants so much to help you, and let you know that he is there for you. He will bring you peace, blessings and a happiness that do not come from anything or anyone else.

How I live my faith

The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints has given me so many opportunities to serve and be a leader in my community. In my teenage years I was able to act as a president or leader over the youth girls in my church. I was able to become their friend, help them when needed, and plan fun activities for them. This experience taught me how to serve others and be a good friend. I now am living my faith by sharing it with others in Oklahoma. Nothing has brought me greater joy then sharing my faith. It blesses lives!

What is faith?

Milyssa Law
"Worry ends where faith begins". Faith is having a hope without worries. Faith always produces an action. When we have faith and act on it, we will learn and grow closer to our savior. Show more Show less
