Hi I'm Spencer Agren

Utah native, videographer, full-time missionary in Argentina, and I'm a Mormon.

About Me

I'm 20 years old and I like film. I've been making short videos with my friends for a couple of years now and it never seems to grow old. Really, just the process of creating something and watching a finished product on a big screen is the most rewarding experience, especially when you do it with your friends. When I'm not behind a camera, I'm going to school or going on an adventure somewhere. I like to travel and in the off chance I'm not too busy with work, I'm snowboarding.

Why I am a Mormon

My parents divorced when I was twelve. My dad, being an atheist, made things a little difficult to understand. This really confused me and for a long time. I didn't know how to feel about my life. After reading the Book of Mormon and considering the many questions I had in my head, I grew to know one thing. God loves me. I am no different than you or the person across from me and really, although the world is a scary, confusing place... it will all work out. Being a member of the Church of Jesus Christ of Later-Day Saints gives me hope. Many people, such as my father, would say that God doesn't exist, but when you consider the vast numbers of connections between events, even similarities between religions and faiths, the omnipotent... loving... power that surrounds us all is really watching after us. The restoration that is this gospel is evidence of that. We are all children of God, and through this church I have found him.

How I live my faith

I'm currently serving a full-time mission in Córdoba, Argentina! Some days are rough, but I know this is the Lord's work. Moroni 9:6.
