Hi I'm Tom

I grew up in New York. I am currently a PhD student, studying Electrical Engineering at BYU in Utah. I'm a Mormon.

About Me

I have always loved sports. Just about any sport will do, I enjoy playing most of them. My favorite is tennis, and I wish I got to play it more often. It can be hard to get out on the courts as often as I want. I have been married now for nearly two years and have a baby boy who I love. When he came I could not believe how much I loved him from the very start. I love family. I think they are the greatest source of joy and I'm grateful to have such a great one.

Why I am a Mormon

I am a Mormon because I believe that it is the true church of Jesus Christ. I have believed that my entire life. I can feel God's presence in my life as I strive to live well. I know He loves me and my family and I love serving Him.

How I live my faith

I have served in my community by going on a 2 year religious mission to Asuncion, Paraguay. There I met lots of people and I fell in love with the culture. The people there are incredible. I spent my time trying to help them find happiness and joy in life and to learn more about their Savior Jesus Christ. Currently, I live in Provo and I serve in a Bishopric, which means I get to help be a leader in my church community. I try to know of the needs of all those in my ward and I do as much as I know how to fill those needs. It is a great blessing to be able to serve.
