Hi I'm Morgan

I was born and raised in Canada. I am preparing to serve a 18 month mission for the church. I'm a Mormon

About Me

I am the oldest of six children in my family. I have two loving parents, and my family is very important to me. I enjoy being active, I especially like swimming, hiking, playing basketball, and volleyball. I enjoy biology and hope to someday have a career in the medical or dental field. I love music, I love to sing and to perform in musicals as well as singing festivals and competitions.

Why I am a Mormon

I grew up as a Mormon, and so did my parents. I love this gospel and I have always known that I wanted the same things that my family had for my own future family. Through prayer I learned for myself the truths of this gospel and I have gained a testimony for myself. The Book of Mormon has brought joy to my life, I read it everyday, I am able to apply the things I learn in the scriptures into my daily life. Prayer is so important to me. I know with all my heart that I am a daughter of God, this knowledge is priceless. I know that God will always be there for me because he loves me more then I will ever know. I know that Jesus Christ lives, I know that he suffered and died for me. Through him I can be forgiven of all my sins, I can be clean and pure in the sight of God, and I can eventually live with God again because of Jesus's sacrifice. I know the Book of Mormon is true, I have read it and felt witness of it's truth in my life. I know that the gospel of Jesus Christ brings happiness, true happiness. The love and joy that is found in following Christ does change lives, it enhances our abilities to have strong relationships, we understand our purpose in life and why we are here, we learn that we can be with our families forever, we are able to endure the trials and pitfalls in life with faith and hope, we are able to have the protecting, guiding spirit of the Holy Ghost in our lives and above all we will come to gain a personal relationship with our loving Heavenly Father.

How I live my faith

I live my faith daily by always striving to be a Christ-like example. I can do that by being kind to others, helping those in need, or even by sharing a simple hello or smile. In my ward I am the 13 year old Sunday School teacher, I enjoy teaching them gospel principles. I am also a visiting teacher and take time each month to visit sisters in my ward. I often volunteer my talents to the ward, and to my small community by offering to sing in church, or at activities, either in my ward or community.
