Hi I'm Rachael Andrade

Im a Mormon.

About Me

I am an athlete. I ran cross country and track and played soccer in high school. I love reading and listening to music. I attend Brigham Young University in Utah where I am studying to become an athletic trainer. I live in California and, as most Californians, I LOVE the beach!

Why I am a Mormon

I am a Mormon because of the joy this church brings into my life. I find joy in knowing that my family can be together forever. I love my Savior Jesus Christ and know that He atoned for the sins of the world and that through him we may be saved and be forgiven, no matter what. I know that this is the true church of Jesus Christ. I know that Thomas S. Monson is a prophet of God and if we listen to his words and follow what he tells us, then we will be blessed. I know that Joseph Smith translated the Book of Mormon and that it is true. I find so much joy in reading it and learning about so many faithful people that were blessed because they endured to the end. I know that God lives and loves us infinitely, He is always there for us. Whenever I feel alone, I rejoice in the fact that our Heavenly Father is always with us and is listening to our prayers and can make us feel so much peace in the hardest of times.

How I live my faith

I love to serve others. I have volunteered at Girl Scout Day Camp as a counselor for six years and as the co-director for one year. I love being able to serve others and see the smiles on others' faces when I am able to help them. In church I teach the "sunbeam" class which is the class for the four and five year olds. I love getting to teach them about the Gospel on such a simple level and see the light in their eyes when they understand what I am teaching them.
