Hi I'm Zack

I love competitive swimming, I served a mission in Nebraska, I love the Spanish language and I'm a Mormon.

About Me

I'm from Utah have lived here my whole life. I'm the oldest of two kids. When I was about 11, I quickly fell in love with the sport of competitive swimming and did that all through high school. When I turned 18 I had the privilege and blessing of serving a full-time mission in Nebraska, Spanish speaking. I love those people and that language so much. Those two years changed my life. Now I'm preparing to become a Physical Therapist and will be attending college in the Spring.

Why I am a Mormon

Growing up, I went to church because my family went to church. That's just what we did every Sunday. But it wasn't until I was 15 or 16 years old that I really came to know for myself that it was true. I followed the promise found in the book of Moroni chapter 10, verses 4-5 in the Book of Mormon where it says, "And when ye shall receive these things, I would exhort you that ye would ask God, the Eternal Father, in the name of Christ, if these things are not true: and if ye shall ask with a sincere heart, with real intent, having faith in Christ, he will manifest the truth of it unto you by the power of the Holy Ghost. "And by the power of the Holy Ghost ye may know the truth of all things." Knowing the truth of ALL things sounded pretty good to me, so I did just what the scripture says and knelt down in prayer to my Heavenly Father and asked if what I had been learning my whole life was true, and the feelings I got in response through the Holy Ghost were EXACTLY what I needed to know. From that moment on, I truly knew that this church and the teachings from it were and are true. I'd like to bear my testimony that I know that this is Christ's church restored to the earth by the prophet Joseph Smith. I know that my Father in Heaven loves me and cares about me so much and wants more than anything for me and everyone else to return to live with him. I know that the Book of Mormon is another testament of Jesus Christ and that by reading it and following its teachings, a person can grow closer to Christ than by reading any other book. And I say these things in the name of Jesus Christ, Amen

How I live my faith

I live my faith everyday as I strive to live the teachings of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints and by following the modern day prophets. I try very hard to be "an example of the believers" (1 Timothy 4:12) to everyone that I interact with by following the commandments and living in a way that would be pleasing to my Heavenly Father who loves me so much.
