Hi I'm Hannah

I grew up on a small island in Georgia. I enjoy writing and editing books. I'm a Mormon.

About Me

I absolutely love being outdoors and experiencing new things. I love hiking to the top of mountains and traveling and experiencing new foods and activities every chance I get. I love writing and reading and learning new things (no matter what the subject matter). I just finished my first novel (beginning stages, anyway) and am well on to the second. I am almost finished with my Master's degree in Early Childhood Education which I absolutely adore. Any chance I get to work with children is a great thing to me. I love learning from the youth of today and keeping an open mind in the classroom - just because they're small, that doesn't mean their minds and imaginations are! I love cooking, organizing, decorating, and planning all sorts of things. I think in a perfect world I would be some sort of a homemaker or an event planner. I am moving to Washington State in early 2014 and can't wait to be able to hike and explore all sorts of new things on a completely new coast!

Why I am a Mormon

I am a member of His church because of the blessings I feel daily and the immense happiness I feel in my life. I know that I have the ability to live through eternity with my family - and what a blessing that is! I know that The Book of Mormon is true, and that it was inspired and written to give us guidance. Reading its words and praying with and for my family gives me a true purpose in life. I know that I am blessed. There is no other feeling like being a member of His church.

How I live my faith

I move often but I always enjoy going to whatever ward is in my area. I hope to get a calling to teach the youth if not where I am living now, definitely when I get out to Washington. I make it a point multiple times a week to make time to listen to talks and read the scripture and I am sure to pray as often as I can. I enjoy learning new things and expanding my faith with the people who share my beliefs. I am a huge family advocate and try to spend quiet time with those that I care about doing activities that satisfy Heavenly Father. Though I know often I fall short, with His grace and guidance, I know I will always persevere.
